Panama is world-famous for its 48-mile canal that connects the Pacific Ocean with the Atlantic Ocean. Each year, over a million people visit the canal to witness this engineering marvel at work. But there is much more Panama to see! With it’s biodiversity and gorgeous landscapes, Panama is a great choice for both adventure seekers and beach lovers. On this trip, join Henry and I as we take a quick trip to the country that changed the world map.
Itinerary*
Thursday, February 11: Arrival Day! We’ll start our trip in Panama’s capital city. We’ll officially kick off the trip at a group dinner in Panama City’s historic, Casco Viejo. If you arrive earlier in the day, spend the day exploring on your own.
Friday, February 12: Off to the canal! We’ll be up and out early to catch the ships going through the canal. The ships can only traverse the canal during certain periods of the day so we’ll start the day here at one of the 7 industrial wonders of the world. The afternoon will be on your own exploring Panama City’s Casco Viejo neighborhood or one of the many of the city’s parks, playgrounds or museums.
Saturday, February 13: This morning we’ll head back to the airport and hop on a quick flight to Panama’s second largest city, David. From David, we’ll get picked up for our private transfer to an island paradise in the Gulf Of Chiquiri.
Sunday, February 14 and Monday, February 15: We’ll spend these two full days exploring all the activities the island has to offer: hiking, nature explorations, kayaking, fishing, taking Panamanian cooking classes, lounging, etc.
Tuesday, February 16: We’ll take an early boat ride back to mainland to catch our flight back to Panama City and then continue on home.
$500 deposit is required per family to reserve spot. Spots are granted on a first come, first serve basis. Deposit is 100% refundable if the trip is cancelled by Anywhere + Everywhere at any time. Deposit is 100% refundable if cancelled by you up to 60 days prior to trip. Any cancellations within 60 days are non-refundable. Travel arrangements to Panama must be made on your own.
